Can a booking agent (e.g. a concierge) book my tour on Square?
Can a booking agent (for example, a concierge) book my tour for a hotel guest group, and be paid a commission via the Square website automatically?
If so, is there a limit to how many booking agents I can assign to my website?

Hey there @ebc123. So, the answer to your question is “sort of.” A couple of clarifications, first. The “Square website” will not track of pay anything like this. In order to do what you want automatically, you will need a couple of other pieces of the Square ecosystem.
- Square Teams
- Square Payroll
- Your booking agents would need to download and use a Square POS
Basically, you would set up each of your booking agents as team members. You’d want to set up their team permissions to restrict them to sales only — like you would an employee in your office who was doing only sales. You’d set them up to be commission-only team members and whenever your run a payroll, Square Payroll would pay them for commissions earned in the period. After you have that done, when an agent wants to book one of your tours they would sign into Square POS using credentials they set up after you invited them to your team. Sales would be closed to their team member number and you could easily track activity when you want.
Of course, all of this automation is not free. You’d definitely need a Square Payroll subscription. It comes with monthly fees, and also charges you each month a flat fee for team members who received at least one paycheck.
I’ll also mention a couple of other alternatives. First, you can head over to the Square App Marketplace and see if there are any third-party apps that do this for you for a monthly fee. Second, if you don’t want added expenses at all, you’d could add a new optional modifier set to your tour items. This set would contain a modifier for each agent you have authorized to resell your tours. Of course, if you go that route you’d have to print a report regularly and manually initiate and send checks.
Let me know if you have any other questions. What I described above is a very high-level overview, only.
