Can I Sync My Google Calendar Events to Square Appointments Calendar?
Hello all,
For starters, I have successfully synced my Google calendar with my Square Appointments calendar.
I am able to see my Square appointments on my Google calendar BUT I am not able to see my Google Calendar events on my Square appointments calendar. Is there any way for my Google calendar events to pop up to show my clients that I am not available?

Hello @NylaR and welcome to the Seller Community.
At this time your Google Calendar imported events will not be visible to your customers. However, imported events will accommodate appointments around these events to avoid booking at times you are not available. If this isn't the way your appointments and events are behaving differently please let me know so I can look into this for you.

Hey JJ. I'm having this same issue. When I block off a personal event on my Google calendar, customers are still able to double book the same time slot through square appointments. Is there an automated way around this?

Hey there @Cschroeder !
I'm jumping in here for JJ.
One of our Super Sellers replied to this thread below explaining how you can manage your Google Calendar to make sure any time you are unavailable is blocked on your Appointments calendar.
You'll want to make sure that you have imported your Google Calendar and that you have imported the one that has the time you need blocked on your Appointments calendar. This can be a little confusing because you can have many calendars in Google, but only one of them will be imported to Square.
Let me know if this helps!
Thank you ✨

Are your subscribed to a paid plan? If not, you will need to do that first.
If you are, you have to import and export the events. Export allows your Square Appointments to be seen on your Google calendar (it will probably show as a calendar called "Your Name - Square Appointments"on Google). Import will allow your events to show on your Square Appointments calendar and make you unavailable for bookings.
You can only import one calendar at a time, so it's import to schedule all of your events to that calendar. I have multiple calendars created for one Google account (morning routine, night routine, personal to do..things like that. I like to color block). But, because I can only sync one calendar to Square, I also have an "events" calendar. This is where I put anything that will make me unavailable to clients or that I want blocked on Square. This is how I manage multiple businesses and don't double book myself.
