Hi Team
We need a report to look at what items we want to stop selling.
The type of report is any item not sold within a time frame. I.e. if I put a date range in I would expect it to pull a list of items not sold at all in that timeframe. We have 4,000 + items so looking at this manually via history of inventory is not possible.
If I have missed this report please share the steps to access this.
Thank you
Sarah

I have found a work around that you can share with others who are looking for this information:
- Pull report 1: Pull entire inventory list from items library
- Pull report 2: Reports - Items Sale - select date range - export
- Combine both reports
- Data validation on duplicate
- Remove duplicates
- Items still there are ones not sold in timeframe

Thanks for filing this feature request, @SarahMarsh. I can definitely see how handy it would be to have a report showing you which items have been underperforming so you can reassess your inventory and restock. A workaround for now could be to sort your item sales reports in ascending order, which will show you which items have sold the least first in your spreadsheet. On Google Sheets this can be achieved by selecting the Items Sold column in your spreadsheet and then clicking "Sort Sheet A to Z" so your lowest numbers appear first:
The caveat with this workaround is that items that have sold zero units wouldn't be displayed as they won't be on the report. More reporting around low performing items is a great suggestion that could fit well into Square for Retail's reporting features, and I'll pass this onto our team for consideration.

I am looking for items not sold at all.. As mentioned with over 4000 products and 0 items sold happens. With no way to track that it is making me reconsider the use of Square. I have seen the question on posts since 2019.. I come from a tech background so unsure what is so difficult about this. Would appreciate if you could at least tell me if this is in the roadmap - understand you don't provide timelines.

Thanks for clarifying, @SarahMarsh - that makes sense. This isn't on our roadmap at the moment. We'll let you know if this changes!
