Exporting Item Lists for end of month
Hi guys,
We have 3 locations with multiple categories and I only need to export the uniform shop item list for stock figures for end of month reporting, however all locations and categories seem to export.
How do I get around this? I have the location selected but it will still only export "all categories" so everything gets exported including other location items and takes quite awhile to manually reconfigure this. we're on the base package.
Thanks
Sacha

Heya @BalmoralPnC 👋
When you have a moment, please give this a try:
1. In your Dashboard, head to Reports > Item Sales.
2. Select your uniform shop location via the All Locations drop-down.
3. Apply other filters, such as your date range, as needed.
4. Select Export > Detail CSV.
Please let us know how you go!

Thanks Arie but I'm after the actual stock count as at end of month not the amount of sales. We are not on Retail plus, just the base package and I have my own spreadsheet setup with costs so that I can generate cost of goods sold for the end of month reporting.
Is there a way I can export the Item List just for one specific location?
Thanks

Thanks for clarifying here, @BalmoralPnC! I'm just jumping in here for @Arie!
So when you're exporting your item library, the expected behaviour is that your full item library will be exported into your spreadsheet. However, you will see in the template that there is a column assigned for each location active on your Square Account. The title of the column will show as 'Enabled [LOCATION NAME], and then we will see a Y where the items are available at that location, and an N when they aren't.
You can filter the spreadsheet to show specific location items by applying a filter to these columns to exclude the data from other locations.
I hope this helps!
