Hi
We are a farmstead based in Devon. I'm running a charity event and want to try and limit the number of vehicles to allow for traffic flow and parking so am selling tickets for parking for set periods of time.
Does anyone know a work around so I can harvest their vehicle reg numbers to check they have purchased tickets? Currently technical support does not have this as an option.
Any advice gratefully received!!
Many thanks
Lou

Hi we used Brushfire - it issues tickets and you can pass the cost of the add on to Square app Its $1 per ticket cost +. We used it for a fashion show with 300 attendees - they get a QR scan code ticket - its very good - thatโs if you have phone service - is it in the middle of nowhere?
https://www.brushfire.com/pricing/
You could create an event/ service for the amount of time slot or an Item in POS /online ?appointments - BUT- BIG BUT HERE!
I donโt know how youโd police that cos you know people will arrive early and leave late and will always have an excuse. Everyone will want to park nearest to the entrance and then you have disability to consider. You can rent an ANPR machine - then if someone overstays they will issue a fine.
Heres a link to a solar panel ANPR company who rent units for the day https://srl.co.uk/our-product/portable-anpr-camera/#:~:text=Available%20for%20hire%2C%20our%20Portab...
Number plates are also a GDPR nightmare.
Jimmyโs Farm is just down the road and they offer free parking - is it on such a large scale?
In lock down we used Square Kerbside pick up- to avoid Queue clash for pick ups but everyone arrived pretty much when they wanted 10 Oโclocks arrived at 1pm stating they were running late and 4pms said they were running early.
Good Luck.
