Hey @HolsPel, nice to see you back here in the Community.
Would you be looking to add a do not cache instruction for your customers to read or did you have something else in mind?
If it's a message for your customers, we don't a built-in feature specifically for cache and cookies but you could add a popup message or a banner to your site.
Pop-ups are small banners that can appear on your website at specified times to complete actions like collect emails, offer vouchers, make announcements or verify age.
To add a pop-up to your Square Online site:
- In your Square Online Overview page, go to Communications > Pop-ups.
- Choose your pop-up type and select the button to open the pop-up editor. You can customise the pop-up’s style and content, as well as edit settings such as display frequency or schedule.
Let me know if works with what you were thinking.

I have added the following meta tags to website pages in the past to prevent them from caching
Cache-Control content= no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate
Pragma content= no-cache
content= 0
Is there anywhere within square where html meta’s can be added to specific pages?

Hi @HolsPel, just stepping in for Alegra here.
I found this article on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) explaining that adding meta tags to individual ages is not possible at this time. It is possible, however, to add meta-tags to your entire website. You can do so by following the instructions below:
- Go to your Square Online Overview page > Settings > Tracking Tools
- Select Add new code near the bottom of the page.
- In the pop-up window, enter the code's name and the code itself into the corresponding fields.
- To place the code in the header, select head, or to place the code in the footer, select End of body.
- When finished, select Save. Important: There's no reason to use these fields unless you've been instructed to do so, so it's perfectly fine to leave them blank. Please do not use them for keywords or generic text, as it could have an adverse effect on your site.
I can see how adding meta-tags to individual pages would be useful for you and your business, though. I’ll pass your feedback to our team and hopefully, this is something we will be able to implement in the future.
Let me know if you need anything else from me, I’d be happy to help!
