When trying to edit the text content of my home page I only seem to have the choice of H1-5 headings leaving the text too large, is there any way round this please?

Hi @ironmonger, thanks for letting us know! Before I look into this further, can you confirm the section you are editing - is it a text-only section or is it the banner, featured items, etc?

Thanks for sending that on @ironmonger! It looks like you might be using a section that doesn't allow text customisation like testimonials or our mission. If you prefer to have smaller font, it might be better to use something like the About Us or Text section. Both will let you change the font size. The only difference is About Us let you add an image while Text is just text only (you can also use the Text and image section).
Here's what the About Us will look like when published:
Here's what the Text section will look like:

Hi,
I have a similar issue with the product description, just like in your picture it is not aligned properly and the right side is not even, it doesn't look neat and professional and there is no option to change it. Any suggestions?

From a professional, please understand that the formatting is not 'wrong'. The formatting is perfect for online media.
Justified text (what I think you're wanting) is mainly utilised in print form & really needs to be used carefully online. Especially in limited spaces or when a website is dynamic for different devices used. This article here (jump to point 6, however all might be useful) describes it better than I can.
That said, I don't think there'd be any harm in having an alignment option across all of the site. Then on the users head be it.
If you're taking a critical eye over your site then it might be worth checking the consistent use of capitalisation & measurements etc.

Hi,
thank you for your input. Although the article you suggested says that we should avoid justifying text, it doesn't change my opinion on it. The justified text seems like a very basic feature that is not available to use on Square, combining with a lot of other features that Square does not offer it can certainly reduce the overall quality of people's websites

I agree and reason enough for me to move on to something a little more professional (you get what you pay for), fed up with seeing flatline visitor statistics after I’ve put so much in to it.

Hi @Agnie, thanks for your sharing this. I've flagged this with our Product team and am looking to see if there is a workaround to help edit the text alignment. I'll be sure to follow up when I come across a verified workaround.

Is there any way to have my product description underneath my product images ? Such a waste of space and definitely not user friendly having everything in one column on the right side, If you have a long product description, it means scrolling down forever. I can already guess the answer so not sure why I am asking however just hoping this one time square might surprise me with a real solution.

Thanks for the comment @MUDE, I can confirm that we can't currently change the layout of the product description, the default is to the side.
I agree that this should be customisable, and I will this feedback on to our product teams for visibility on future updates.
