I tried using different browsers and restarting my device multiple times but to no avail. What should I do?

Hi there @erart,

Sorry to hear you're running into these issues uploading your images!

Just so we're on the same page with you here, is this prior to publishing the changes? If possible, are you able to share a link to your site in your reply so that we can test this on our end, or include a screenshot of the issue you're seeing on your end?

It's worth noting that we support the following file types for product images, and the individual file size cannot exceed 25 MB: .jpg, .png, .gif, .spin.

We'll keep a lookout for your reply here.

P.S. I notice it's your first time posting to the Seller Community! Welcome! 🤗

It is likely that the image you uploaded was not in a supported format. Weebly supports the following image formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, .svg. Please try uploading the image again, making sure it is in one of the supported formats. If you continue to experience issues, please contact Weebly Website Support for further assistance.

If you are having trouble uploading pictures to your Weebly website, there are a few things you can try to resolve the issue.

First, make sure that your photo is in the right format. Weebly supports JPG, PNG, and GIF images, so be sure to save your photo in one of these formats before uploading.

Second, check the size of your image. Weebly recommends that images not exceed 100KB in size, so if your image is larger than that, try resizing it with a free image editing tool.

Third, clear your browser's cache and cookies. Sometimes, outdated information saved in the browser can interfere with uploading images.

Fourth, try using web browser. Different browsers can behave differently, so if one isn't working, try another.

Finally, if you still can't upload your photo, contact Weebly support for help. They should be able to figure out why your image isn't uploading and provide a solution.

Often, an image upload issue is due to cookies or stored cache. Using Incognito mode fixes this issue, while using a different website browser helps as well as define importance of desert. I recommend using Google Chrome when editing your Weebly website. If you're having issues with image upload in Google Chrome, try using Mozilla Firefox instead.

If you are experiencing an issue where only a picture icon is visible after uploading an edited picture to your Weebly website, there are a few possible reasons and solutions to consider:

  1. File format: Ensure that you are uploading the picture in a supported file format, such as JPEG, PNG, or GIF. Weebly may not display images in other formats or may encounter compatibility issues.

  2. File size: Check the file size of your edited picture. Large image files can take longer to load or may not display properly on your website. Try compressing the image or reducing its dimensions to optimize the file size for web display.

  3. File name: Ensure that your edited picture has a proper file name with alphanumeric characters and does not contain any special characters or spaces. Some web platforms have restrictions on file names that can cause display issues.

  4. Upload method: If you are using Weebly's built-in image upload feature, try an alternative method. For example, you can upload the edited picture to a cloud storage service like Google Drive or Dropbox and then use the image URL to embed it in your Weebly website.

  5. Clear cache: Clear your browser cache to ensure that you are viewing the latest version of your website. Sometimes, the cached version may not reflect recent changes or updates.

If the issue persists after trying these solutions, you may need to reach out to Weebly's support team for further assistance. They can help troubleshoot the specific issue you are facing and provide guidance on how to resolve it. https://capcuttemplates.org

understand your frustration with the issue you're facing on your Weebly website. When you upload a picture, only a picture icon being visible can indicate a problem with the image rendering or compatibility. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Image Format: Check if the image you are uploading is in a supported format (e.g., JPEG, PNG, GIF). Ensure that the image file is not corrupted and can be opened correctly on your device.

  2. Image Size: Verify that the image size is within the acceptable limits specified by Weebly. Large image files may cause rendering issues or take longer to load. Try resizing the image to a smaller file size and upload it again.

  3. Clear Browser Cache: Clear the cache and browsing history of your web browser. Sometimes, stored cache files can interfere with the rendering of new images. After clearing the cache, try uploading the image again and see if it displays correctly.

  4. Weebly Editor: Ensure that you are using the latest version of the Weebly editor. Check for any available updates and apply them if necessary. Outdated software versions may have compatibility issues with certain image formats.

  5. Contact Weebly Support: If the issue persists, reach out to Weebly's customer support. Explain the problem in detail and provide specific information about the image format, size, and any error messages encountered. They will have the expertise to assist you further and provide specific guidance to resolve the issue.

Remember to be patient and provide as much detail as possible when seeking support. The Weebly support team should be able to help you identify and resolve the issue, allowing your images to display correctly on your website.

I have done this same to my client's website.

If you're seeing a picture icon instead of the actual image on your Weebly website after uploading an edited version of the picture, there could be a few reasons for this issue. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

  1. File Format and Compatibility: Ensure that the image file format is supported by web browsers. Common formats like JPEG, PNG, and GIF are generally compatible. If you're using an uncommon or proprietary format, consider converting the image to a more widely supported format.

  2. Check the Image Path: Double-check that you've entered the correct file path for the image. If you're using an HTML widget or embedding the image manually, make sure the src attribute of the img tag points to the correct location of the image.

  3. Image Upload: Make sure that the image was uploaded to the correct location on your Weebly website. Log in to your Weebly account, navigate to the page where you want to display the image, and verify that the image is present in the right location.

  4. File Naming and Special Characters: Avoid using special characters, spaces, or symbols in the image file name. Stick to alphanumeric characters and hyphens or underscores if needed. Some web servers might have issues with special characters in file names.

  5. Clear Cache: Sometimes, web browsers cache images, and outdated cached versions might cause display issues. Clear your browser's cache and refresh the page to see if the image appears.

  6. File Size: Extremely large image files might take longer to load or could cause display issues. Optimize your images for web use by resizing and compressing them without compromising too much on quality.

  7. Weebly Image Elements: If you're using Weebly's built-in image elements, make sure you've selected the correct image from your media library or uploaded it properly. If you're using a gallery or slideshow feature, ensure that the images are set up correctly.

  8. HTTPS and Mixed Content: If your website is on HTTPS (secure connection), ensure that the image source also uses HTTPS. Mixed content (HTTP resources on HTTPS pages) can sometimes cause issues.

  9. Browser Compatibility: Check if the issue is consistent across different web browsers. It's possible that the problem is browser-specific.

  10. Weebly Support: If none of the above solutions work, consider reaching out to Weebly's support for assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on your website's configuration.

By carefully reviewing these aspects, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue of the image not displaying correctly on your Weebly website.

There are a few things you can try to fix the issue of only seeing a picture icon instead of the picture itself on your Weebly website:

  1. Make sure that the picture file is supported by Weebly. Weebly supports the following image file formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, and GIF. If your picture file is not in one of these formats, try converting it to a supported format and uploading it again.
  2. Check the size of the picture file. Weebly has a maximum file size limit of 25MB for images. If your picture file is larger than 25MB, try reducing the file size before uploading it again.
  3. Clear the cache and cookies in your browser. Sometimes, outdated cache and cookies can cause problems with websites. To clear your cache and cookies, follow the instructions for your specific browser.
  4. Try uploading the picture file from a different device. If you are still having problems uploading the picture file, try uploading it from a different device, such as a computer or a mobile phone.
  5. Contact Weebly support for assistance. If you have tried all of the above steps and you are still having problems uploading the picture file, contact Weebly support for assistance.

Here are some additional tips for troubleshooting Weebly image issues:

  • Make sure that the image is uploaded to the correct folder in your Weebly editor.
  • Try uploading the image using a different method, such as dragging and dropping the file into the Weebly editor or using the Weebly image uploader tool.
  • Try uploading the image from a different location, such as your computer's desktop or a cloud storage service.
  • Try uploading the image to a different Weebly site. If the image uploads successfully to a different Weebly site, then the issue is likely specific to your original site.

If you are still having problems uploading images to your Weebly site, please contact Weebly support for assistance.

It sounds frustrating! This issue might be related to the image format or a caching problem. Make sure the images are in a compatible format like JPEG or PNG and that their file size isn’t too large. You could also try clearing your browser cache or checking if Weebly's servers are having any temporary issues. If the problem persists, consider re-uploading the images or contacting Weebly support for assistance.
