No apple pay or google pay button display on checkout page

Hello everyone, my website is www.one57.co.uk and I noticed that even though I opened the apple pay button on the dashboard stripe (belowScreenshot 2024-07-26 104350.png), I still have to fill in my bank card information when I make a payment, which is very inconvenient (I tested this in safari, no problems with Facebook social media platforms). 😞
I've also noticed that there is no visa/applepay/googlepay option on the logo of the supported payment methods at the end of the pageScreenshot 2024-07-26 104504.png, which is very weird, and it's on other people's websites.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you.

Hello, were you able to solve the problem? I have a similar problem, except that nothing is displayed at all, even though I have set the website design to display the information.

Square

Hi there @winstonone and @vigo-shop

Thanks for flagging this.

Can you let me know which country you have both activated your Square accounts from?

And also confirm if other online card payments are being processed successfully?

I'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Hi, thanks for the answer.

The Square account was created in Germany.
Whether other cards are accepted cannot be answered as no purchases have been made yet, the store is still under construction.

But I think it's a pity that I can't show the accepted cards to the customer.

Square

Thank you @vigo-shop

Card processing with Square is not currently supported in Germany, so I believe this may be why you don't see the option for Google/Apple Pay.

Hi @Breffni

I don't see anything, not only the Google/Apple Pay option but no others like VISA, etc. I think it's a shame that I can't even show future customers this information when they want to order and whether their card works.

Hi @winstonone,

Try these quick fixes:

1. Ensure "Allow All Cookies" is enabled in Safari.
2. Double-check that Apple Pay and Google Pay are fully activated in Stripe.
3. Verify your website theme supports these payment options.
4. Update all relevant plugins and your theme.

If it still doesn't work, contacting Stripe support might help.

Best,
Hazel James

It sounds like your issue could be related to a few different factors. Here are some things to check: Apple Pay & Google Pay Eligibility Ensure that your Stripe account is fully set up for Apple Pay and Google Pay. Sometimes, verification issues can prevent these buttons from showing. Make sure your domain is registered with Stripe for Apple Pay. You can do this in the Stripe dashboard under Payments > Apple Pay.

Website Compatibility Apple Pay requires Safari on a supported Apple device. If it's not showing up, try testing on another Apple device. Google Pay should appear on Chrome and Android devices. Ensure your website’s checkout flow supports it properly. Checkout Page Configuration If you're using a third-party checkout solution, check if it supports Apple Pay/Google Pay. Some themes or plugins may interfere with their display. Supported Payment Methods In Stripe settings, confirm that Visa, Apple Pay, and Google Pay are enabled. If they don’t appear on the payment logo section, you might need to update your integration.
