“View shopping cart” creates error screen

When I try to complete a test sale after I add an item to the cart there is no button for: continue shopping - only an option to “view cart”

 

after clicking on “view cart”

Things seem to be working properly now! I went to your website, and added an item to my cart. I tried this on a laptop computer, as well as on my phone - using a Chrome web browser - and it's looking beautiful!

 

Are you still running into troubles, or are things looking right on your side as well?

That seems to be working. But the shopper must view their cart to keep shopping. 

 

How do I add ”continue shopping” from the just added product so they don't have to do so many steps. That's labor intensive for shoppers. 

 

Also if someone removes an item from their cart an error message pops up.  Seems weird

Hm, this is odd. I've tested this on a laptop, an Android phone, and an iPhone. I'm not seeing the errors that you've shared here. Are you able to provide me a bit more detail about how you are arriving at this screen? A step-by-step breakdown would be helpful, @Scrappylittlemk.

For example - I used a Chrome web browser on an Android mobile device, and opened up your website by entering scrappylittlemaker.com into the URL bar. Once on your website, I selected the item I wanted to add to my cart, then entered my delivery address.

Once my delivery address was accepted, I clicked the Add to Cart button. When I pressed this, the 2 items in cart ~ View cart pop-up appeared at the bottom of my screen (shown in screenshot below). I do not have to click this to continue shopping - I can scroll and click around to continue shopping without clicking the black pop-up:

 



Below is a screenshot from my testing using a Chrome web browser on an iPhone, following the same steps as above:

 

I'll be looking out for your response so we can pinpoint the issue here!

Hello thanks for your quick response. 

when I add something to the cart using an iPhone. Then I remove item from cart . It creates the error above in the screen shot.

Ahh, thanks for letting me know that you removed items from your cart before seeing this error. This is the expected behavior - once you remove items from your cart, you would press the in the top right-hand corner of the screen (next to the Shopping Cart text) to return to the website and continue shopping.

To keep shipping I have to click “back”. You don’t have to go to the shopping cart it just seems hard to keep shopping. You have to click “back” or “home”

I tried it again. When I have a few things or even one thing in my cart - and I remove the items it brings up an error message. 

“There was an error, please try again” 

 

I can navigate out of the error. But removing items from cart creates error. (On iPhone)
