Custom Processing Rates (Canada)

Hi Seller Community!

I'm wondering what you have negotiated for your custom processing rates? Year to date, we have processed over $3.5M through Square with an average ticket size of $13.50. Our latest custom processing rate from Square was 2.00%.

3.5% + 0.15

The website rates are lower than this so could you clarify your answer?  Base processing fees (non-custom rates) are just 2.65% per card-present transaction.

For anyone trying to track this down, here's the location: From your dashboard, click Business Information > Pricing & Subscriptions > and then click the drop-down to change from 'Main Account' to one of your locations.  (It took me WAY too long to find this, I didn't think the location mattered to my rates... not sure if it does but whatever.)

Regardless - you are doing about 5x as much business as we are, and you are getting a much better rate too.  Our PoS custom rate is 2.4% per swipe, insert or tap and everything else is higher.
