Basic shipping question...
Hi guys. Just starting out. I'm in Canada. I don't have orders yet but want my shipping set up before I launch so all the questions about "how much do you ship", etc are kind of moot for me.
Here's some deets:
1. I store my own product at my shop
2. I don't have packaging or shipping labels yet. Do I do that myself?
3. The product itself (fitness supplement) is only 0.3kg. and about 5x5x5
I see that square is connected automatically with DHL but says UPS is the "preferred" courier, which I found confusing.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Hi @thenaturalalpha,
Agency partner of Square here. Here are the information I know.
You can either purchase your shipping label with or without Square(with your connected carrier accounts). If you would like to purchase your shipping label through Square, then you can either use DHL right off the bat(with the default weeblymerchant account connected), or connect your own carrier accounts on the Shipping page instead potentially for better shipping rates. If you own your own DHL account and has better shipping rates, you can even connect to your own DHL account instead of using Square's default account. In terms of the "preferred" courier, I do not have info on that. But I'd assume the better rates they are, the better it is coming from a seller's perspective, cause it'll be cheaper to ship.
As for your product dimension, you can utilize the Shipping boxes section under the Shipping page to save your package dimensions to make it faster to create shipping labels and for more accurate real-time shipping estimates(Premium plan of Square Online would be a pre-requisite of getting the real-time shipping estimate)
Hope this helps!

I am not understanding the weebly versus square. I would like to offer DHL as a shipping option as well as UPS as the accounts are already set up through square. How do I add these options to my shipping? I added my own Canada Post account but would like options. Thanks.

Hello @HWMK, I know it can be a little confusing! But now Weebly and Square are all fully merged so you don't have to worry about the difference between the two.
