I had an employee set up my terminal

I had an employee set up my square terminal. She provided incorrect information for our verification email.  She has since been fired. Add none of my transfers went through and they cannot find any of my transactions but they were all in my terminals at some point. Since I do not have the correct verification email but I did not call in and set up the square terminal, Square will not provide me with any information regarding my sales or the transactions that never went through or help me recover the account with all that information. I am 100% owner of the llc all the accounts and everything are my name but they still haven't provided any information regarding the transactions that are missing. Did they tell me to get in touch with the employee that I fired and have her call so that I could release the information to me. How am I going to get this information and recover my sales from that event

Since you can not log into the Account that an Employee setup, sounds like the Ex-employee setup the account in a different name with their own information.  Since you can not get into the account at all, this might be time for a lawyer.  

You have what seems to me an account that an ex-employee set up invalid information on the Verification letter from Square.  What Information did the ex-employee use?  Where did your deposits go from your sales?  I can not even suggest where you can look in your account because you have no access to it.   The ex-employee may have access to the account they setup for you using the False information.  So basically all your sales, may have gone to the ex-employee and not to you is what I am guessing.

Now you say None of your Transactions went through, but maybe they did go through in your Employees false information account.  The ex employee could have showed you the Transactions processing and recording in Square, but that does not mean they were into your Account.  This is why I suggest contacting the Police and filing a report against the ex-employee and getting a lawyer the way it sounds.  

 

What happens if you setup a New Square account with all the Correct information?   

Do you get an error saying something like account exsists already?

Does Square Support have any record of your Account?

This is why in todays age you can not Trust anyone.  

This does not sound like a Square Issue but rather a scammer or theif setting you up to steal your funds and Square account when they were setting this up for you.

@Laurielane25 This may be an expensive lesson learned here.  I don't want to sugar coat it.  Obviously, you would never want someone to be able to impersonate you and hijack your business, at least financially.  What has happened to you could be "innocent" or you could have been hijacked on the front end with the employee intending to take off with the sales.  I don't know why you terminated the employee, but I can assume it wasn't for doing a great job.  Regardless, I would ask the employee, and maybe even offer to pay them for the time to call in and get it situated out.  In the meantime, I would open a new square account and start fresh without any association with the old employee.

 

Based on my experience, this will be nothing but trouble for you.  As a last resort, you can take the employee to court or file charges for theft if you have credible reasons to believe this was on purpose.  The main thing you need is the e-mail and password that was used to set up the account and you could at least go in and see where the money and transactions were going.  They person might have refunded them all...time will tell.
