I had two very large transactions and received a notice that the funds are being held pending an investigation of fraudulent activities. I answered questions and uploaded proof of contract and have not received funds and it's been two days. My vendors are awaiting my invoice payments and yet my funds have not been released. please advise.

Hi there @kingdomwomenent. I know this is going to sound like I’m insane, but two days is not a lot of time for this sort of thing. Square is probably not the only company involved here — the customer’s bank probably is, and even the card company (MC, etc) probably is. Someone has raised a red flag and there is nothing anyone can do to speed up this process, once it has started. Square has been notified that the funds are being held up somewhere in the food chain, and they contractually can’t release them to you until this matter is resolved (hopefully in your favor).
That being said, I’m going to tag the Square Moderators here. They might be able to consult with the appropriate department and reach out to you privately to update you. I wish you the best. This sort of thing is what nightmares are made of!

Thanks so much Violet. It’s been two days and no other response. I attached all documents for their review confirming my contract. I really need my funds released. My vendors are not very patient and I had no anticipation of a delay such as this. Hopeful to hear something from someone soon. 🙏
