how do I make my pos on my desktop the same as on my mobile device

I set up my POS and it works great on my mobile devices. BUT... When I try to process transactions on my desktop (Mac) it is only the general transaction screen WITHOUT the buttons for items I created. What am I missing?

the virtual terminal on a computer is just for lump sum payments not to be used as a full POS.  Square is a mobile POS system.
