I checked my weebly subdomain speed against serveral word press- Elementor and Dive Themes and let me tell you there are just as many requests and css running those themes as Weebly so before you go burn cash thinking your going to get lightliing bottle with wordpress you might give Weebly a second thought before leaving,.Now granted I know how to compress files and don't use a lot of widgets or plugins. .Also keep in mind I'm on free subdomain which likely is shared by more way more websites than a paid plan. Btw anyone know if the paid plan comes with hosting that is not shared with as many websites?
