Theme not showing in editor

I would like to change the theme of my site, but when I am in the website editor mode, it is not showing up on the top bar, like it should. I have the "Weebly Professional" site package. I am not super saavy with coding, but I have created other sites on different platforms and was able to change themes easily.

Thanks for your post, @SarahCee. You are using the newer website editor which does not yet support changing themes. What kind of visual changes did you want to make?

Similar issue - have not opted for professional yet - I am considering moving my site over from another platform. 

Currently, I had started designing the site with one theme... but I wanted to try a different one. Upon CHOOSING this new theme, there is no update to the look (the site still represents the original chosen theme) in the editor. Is there I'm doing wrong? I tried in 2 different browsers.

We keep the content you've added intact when you switch themes, @defray, so depending on what theme you switch to the visual changes may be fairly subtle.
