how to increase width of text box in sections

Hi,

I am currently using a lot of sections on my website so that I can upload background images to it and then add text. 

However, sometimes, I want the text box to be wider than what I am allowed so the text does not cover certain aspects of my image. Is there any way I can adjust this? I tried adjusting the width in the body section of my coding, but that didn't seem to help.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post a link to your site and specify what section you want to increase the width of a text box in, @V-V? I think that'll help our Community members have a better idea of what options you might have.
