embedded code disappears after publishing

Hi,

I have some custom embedded code on one of the pages of my site and it looks all fine and correct in the builder but is not displaying when I publish.

I'm displaying part of a google sheets tab in different "tabs" (so separate embedded code elements) on weebly. it all displays correctly in the builder but when I publish some of the elements aren't visible anymore. (Weird becuase it's pulling parts from the same google sheet).

The "Legendary standings" tab displays just fine but the elite and veteran tabs don't display at all

Help!

Chris

Thanks for posting the page. The tabs below the first set of tabs appear to be displaying properly. Do those tabs use Google code as well?

the code is identical except for being a slightly different link as I want to embed different tabs of the same google sheet... they appear fine in the editor just not after publishing.

Have you published again since adding that code, @bradders? I don't see your embedded code on the live site for that tab.

Yes, I have republished, since adding the code, it was also working fine on the live site last week, but now does not and I hadn't changed anything on either the google sheet or the website

I took another look at your embed code and you are missing the opening double quote before both your height and width attribute values. Those errors are also in the code on your other tab, so I would fix it in both elements. It's possible that the broken code from the first is breaking the display of the second on your live site.

@Adam I feel like such an idiot, it wasn't a missing ", the issue was that i hadn't closed the whole section with a > for the middle tab only so it was displaying nothing essentially. Thanks for helping me debug though Smiley Happy

Don't feel bad; it's totally normal to look at code 100 times and not notice a missing character 99 times (I know I've certainly done that). Glad you found it!
