Using Google Analytics - seeking stats on past activity

Hi Folks - Getting ready to install Google Analytics to track traffic on my site. After I add the code, will it be able to look at past history or only give me present and future data?  Thanks!

Hey @egab! Once you add the code it will start tracking data, but it won't give you access to anything from before you add the code.
