Site Editor not working
Hi Adam, my site editor suddenly does not work anymore. I cleared browser cache, rebooted, tried different browsers, but still nothing. When I access the site editor it says "loading" and after a while I get an error message. Thanks in advance for your help!

I was able to open your site in the editor without trouble when I tested, @emporia12. Can you temporarily switch to a different browser to see if that helps? Chrome or FireFox are both good choices.

Hey thanks for responding. I tried other browsers but it says "oops problem etc." It will not allow me to publish. Everything was fine last week.
Thanks

Do you have any adblocking, popup blocking, or other software installed on your computer?

Can you try updating FireFox (if you can), or switch to a different browser? I opened your site in the editor without trouble, myself.

Can't update Firefox, using Mac OS X 10.5.4....
Safari (3.1.2) doesn't work either.
Opera 12.16 works partly, but veeeeeeery slowly and I can't format anything.
Also tried a lot of other browsers like chromium, camino, seamonkey already, but they don't work either.

Wow, that's a fairly old version of Mac OS X - most of the browsers for that are no longer supported by their respective makers. Can you upgrade to a newer version of Mac OS X?

unfortunately I can't. Any other solution? Do you know the reason why the editor suddenly stopped working? It worked perfectly before, even with the old browser versions.

Short of updating your operating system, there isn't a lot that we can do. Much as we'd like to keep supporting older versions, the browsers you're using are several years old and haven't been getting updates from their makers.

Hi Adam, that is really disappointing. I have changed to weebly, because everything worked with my computer. Isn't there a possibility to downgrade to the system that always worked perfectly before?

Hello Adam,
For a week now I can't edit my site. There's just this unending "Loading" sign. I've read a lot of comments and suggestions here but they don't work at all. I need your help.

Its not the browsers fault, its not the customers fault using custom themes. It is Weebly's fault. The new carbon upgrade that was forced upon us in 2016 and never done professionally or correctly is causing a myrid of errors, webpage loading slowing, long running script errors and the corporate arrogance of Weebly is indifferent. Even customer service has no clue about why everyone is having issues withe site editior. They even blame the operating system. lol See this page: http://www.webnots.com/weebly-site-editor-issues/ It is becoming more & more clear that the only solution is to go somewhere else to find a venue where they are not deliberately causing problems with customers and wasting hours of our time to fix their errors.

This same problem has just begun with my students' website, SSFS Advanced Projects in Engineering, attached to the email sharon.wall@ssfs.org. The site is not yet published, though it was almost complete, and does not have a domain name yet. We have tried it on multiple computers, old and new operating systems (my personal computer is a 6 month old MacBook with google chrome), and with different browsers. The Site editor simply will not load, and I cannot change or view any part of the site.
Any help would be appreciated
Sharon
