Search function not working

I don't know what's happened but none of the items I test search for are showing up anymore

I tried using the word oil as there are a number of oil timers on there and they used to work but now nothing. Same for everything else I tried.

The only time it has worked is when I went back in and edited a product then resaved and published. But I don't want to do that to over 600 products

Please help ASAP!

I started a re-index of the site for you, @SusannaM, although if it's the bug mentioned in this thread it may not resolve that for you until our engineers fix the bug.

Can my site please also be re-indexed if this is the solution (I haven't read the entire thread) to the search issue? The Search function is not working on my site - results are not showing up when they should be + deleted pages still appearing in results

I have not heard about any updates regarding the but with the search feature, @NoraK, but I'll see if I can find out anything. I believe it's still being worked on at the moment.

Hi Ewan. I reindexed the site for you. It should be done processing within 24-48 hours at the most.

Can you please reindex our site https://robertson.nsw.au 

Search on the home page not working - but on every other page it is working. Not sure if reindexing will fix it so if I am wrong and I am overlooking something, please let me know.

I have toggled search off and then on again in the design options (theme) as suggested by others.

I started a re-index for you, @NaoJ, although I agree with you that I'm not sure it's related. When I clicked on the search icon your home page it wasn't responsive. Is that what you are seeing?

Hi Adam, thank you for your quick reply and look into this. You are correct in that the search icon on the homepage is unresponsive – whereas it seems to work fine on all the other pages on the site. By the way in case this reply posts twice, I am on my phone and I can’t tell if it went through the first time.

It looks like you are using a standard Weebly theme. Do you happen to know if you have any embedded third party code, or third party apps installed on the home page?

I was on the phone with customer support this week and they told me that Weebly's search function only searches items, not pages. So, for example, if I have a page called "Giraffes" and someone types that in the search bar, nothing will come up but if I'm selling a giraffe item, that would come up in a search. Is that correct? And if so, is there any way around that or are all Weebly and Square sites setup this way?
