Scaling Section Backgrounds

Hi,

I have a large panorama image which I want as the main background of a section. How can I force the section background to show the entire image ie. scale with screen width?

I want it to do this at least for desktop and probably tablet, not concerned with mobile. I'm using Cento theme so I would think it should do it automatically, but alas, no.

What size is the image currently? Depending on the dimensions of the image and the dimensions of the section, it will probably crop some of the sides and possibly the top/bottom.

Does it matter the size? I mean, I have a regular 8.5 x 11 size photo landscape and when I zoom in on the page, the text resizes independent of the background. I'd like them to zoom in/out together. Can I fix that?

I don't believe it is possible to do this, but can you can post a link to the site so we have a better idea of what you are trying to do?
