Conversion tracking

Hi guys!

I want to set up conversion tracking for Google Ads.

I want to set the event snippet on the "thank you"-page you get directed to after submitting the contact form.

The only problem is that I cannot find that site so I cannot edit the source code of it. Is it even a editable site or do I need to create an own "thank you"-page somehow? Anyone got a clue? Thanks!

You can set the contact confirmation to redirect to a specific page. Create a page and hide from navigation. You can include some kind of "thank you" or whatever relevant information you want people to see after submitting the form, and then also add your Google code to this page. Then navigate back to the page with the form and click on Form Options>Confirmation>Link>Standard Page and then choose the page to redirect to. Hope this helps!

Putting the Global site tag in the header of every page worked fine, but when I try to put the event snippet on only the thank you-page it automatic puts it in the header of every page too. Is there a way to put it on one page only?

You'll need to add your event snippet just to that page using the Embed Code element rather than putting it in the Header Code field, @akiboi. You could also add it to the Header Code field specifically for that page in SEO Settings area for the page on the Pages tab.

This feature seems to be gone now! I can't add any code snippets into the header of a single page for conversion tracking. A reason to stop using Weebly!

Please help

You should still be able to add that in the same places, @Franz1, For example, go to the Pages tab, click on a page, then click on SEO Settings and you'll see the Header Code field there.

You can also go to Settings > Checkout from your account dashboard to add code specifically for the cart, checkout, and receipt page.

I still can't find it. If i paste the code in there like in the screenshot, it all gets added as a string, not as codeimage

Ahh, you have the newer website editor. We don't yet have a Header/Footer code field for individual pages yet with that. Hmm... You could add that code with the Embed Code section. It'll add a bit of white space to the page so I would probably put it at the bottom of if it was me.

I am using the newer website editor as well and im trying to add an event snippet to the order confirmation page. I noticed on this thread that you suggested adding a new page (example: thank you) but I'm not sure how I can link that page to the order confirmation.

Thanks

It doesn't look like it is currently possible to redirect to a specific page with the new editor. Nor is it possible to edit the html/css of the site since the new editor does not currently allow access. Adam is out for the week, but he may have a suggestion for you when he returns.
