Hello @lisa445

It looks like you found the box to uncheck in your pages section of the editor. 😃

Hello @misskjay

You will log into your account then go to edit site. Once there you will go to pages in the blue bar at the top. You will then see a list of your pages in the left menu. Click a page and you will see the options for that page. You will then change the visibility for each page to public and not site password. Once this is complete you publish your site and the password protection will be removed.

Hey there. Which site and page are you trying to edit?

This has happened to me, even if I make the visibilty public, (i.e not password protected - which I never asked for in the first place) nobody can access my page in my shop, without it popping up as password protected!?

I have tried in vein.

What can I do, this is getting urgent!

Sorry to hear that, @katie2. When I check your site I don't see that it's password protected. Did you still need help?

Same thing just happened to me. I was able to fix it thanks to the instructions in this thread, but I'm still very unsatisfied. My site had been published, was opening fine for several weeks, then suddenly I get this password protection WITHOUT any action on my part!! That is very unsettling.

That is very strange.. does anyone else have access to edit the site? The page settings need to be edited in order to add the password protection. It isn't something that would just turn enable on its own.

I'm having the same problem as well. Have you had any luck?

Are you still having trouble, @andrea3? I checked your site and your pages don't show as password protected for me.

How did you get rid of "password protected" pop-up that didn't allow anyone to get to your site? The same thing is happening to me right now, and I never asked either for that to be applied to my website. Please let me know how you got rid of it. Thanks.

Can you please confirm the site @marrisard? I don't see any password protected pages in your account. Thanks!

I have never kn own how to access to see if anyone has visited this site.

Now, I get a notice that it will go into automatic renewal in two weeks, and I don't know what the price of renewal is.

It's very hard to navigate that information from you.

Also, I need basic knowledge in how to maintain and operate this site.

Can you provide that? Like, why do I have password protection on my site, when I don't see anyone is using it?

Yes, the site "marrisard" is my user name.

My name is Virginia Rinkel.

The renewal price for your Pro service is $144/year, @marrisard

Password protection is enabled when you enter a site password in the Settings tab of the website editor. You can either disable that for individual pages, or delete the password and disable it for all pages.

Hi, this has just happened to me too.

I managed to fix the home page and the blog page BUT the rest of the pages seem to have the problem.  Is there anyone to fix all the pages at once as I have dozens of pages on my site.

Thanks in advance.

I have done this for the pages I wish to be public. Yet my site is still password protected upon typing in the link. Is there another way to remove the password protection? I don't want my whole site to be, just some pages.
