I have enabled function for Customer Accounts as described here
However, when I try to Login/Register on a website - I receive this message:
Site does not allow for open registration.
Also, there is a bug with checkbox - see image

From your account dashboard, go to Settings > Checkout > Advanced settings, edit that, then enable the Customer accounts option. When customers checkout they will have the option of saving their information for quicker checkout.

Hi @JaneCraft You currently have the Membership feature enabled (under the Settings tab). This allows you to have members log into your site and access pages specific to only members. Customer Accounts is a different feature that allows users to save information when checking out through your store. Which feature are you trying to use? At this time it is only possibly to use one or the other.

@Bernadette I have enabled only Customer accounts feature, as it was specified in the link that I have attached in my first message. Therefore, I don't understand why the functionality is not working.

I'm referring to the membership feature that is currently enabled for your account (under the Settings tab in the editor).
Do you want to use the membership feature that allows visitors to access private pages, or do you want shoppers to be able to save their shipping and billing information when making purchases through your store?
