Question regarding captions

One of the pages I've created is a gallery of images. What I would like to do, if at all possible, is to permanently display a small caption under each image while still in gallery view. Then, when the image is selected to display the lightbox, have a second more detailed caption in the lightbox view.

Is any or all of this currently possible in Weebly?

Changing the general placement of captions is probably possible, but displaying a wholly different caption wouldn't be possible. Hmm... well, if the more detailed caption is just a longer version of the same it might be possible, although using CSS to do that means it's just going to truncate all caption short by a specific size.

Adam,

How would I set the caption to appear under the image in galley view and have it appear all the time and not just when hovering over the image?

Hello Ruger! You should be able to achieve that effect in the Gallery Caption settings, by setting Thumbnail to Full, and disabling Display on Hover.

Queso,

I was looking for an option to display the caption in gallery view below the image, not over it. Is this possible?

If you're looking to do that under the specific element, you may need to look to CSS editing, though our Community here could likely tell you more.
