Masonry Gallery

Hi, I would like to propose an update to the image gallery of weebly, as it is obsolete with a not very functional and even less appealing layout. By now almost all the creators of sites allow to set "Masonry Layouts", why not set it on weebly? Keeping up with the times is essential for not losing users ...

Thanks for the suggestion, @Gabriele. I agree it would be nice to display the images in a masonry layout. There are some apps in the app center that will allow you to do this. Smiley Happy

Thanks for your answer. I had already seen some apps in the stores, but unfortunately they do not seem very usable and anyway I think this feature should be released automatically in weebly services

I too would like to see a masonry layout for my items.  Also, I would like to see three or no more than four columns instead of the six that are currently applicable.  Can someone help me out?

Have you checked out the App Center, @BER_bhp? I did a quick search for masonry and there's some image gallery apps that would work for that.

I took your advice an checked with the store.  I purchased the Cododex masonry app.  Here's what I found.

1.  My website, bhpltdohio.com, was created in 2016 and the basic format has changed very little over the years.

2.  I can see that the app would work to rebuild my categories now found on my home page.  That's nice but masonry layout is already available and used on my home page.

3.  The problem is that my "store" pages where over 800 items are posted in my inventory does not allow me to use the masonry layout that I just purchased.  I don't have all the answers but it looks like I must do a complete rebuild of both the home page and the "store" to utilize the masonry app.  I am guessing that I will need to use the "product page" vs the standard page that I probably used to build the inventory.

4.  This really is a big disappointment.  If masonry can be applied to the home page why can't it be applied to the pages I have used for my inventory?

5.  Finally, I just finished linking every item to pins in Pinterest.  I can't justify redoing every one of those pins just because Weebly doesn't give me a masonry layout in my store.

Thanks for the feedback. You would need to manually link each product page by copy/pasting the link from the live site. This would be a pretty large task to accomplish with that many items, but maybe you could create a  "featured items" page with your top selling or most recommended products?
