How i do delete an old uploaded file?

We want to completely remove an uploaded PDF file from our website. Our school has been asked for removing it because  it contains private information. Thanks for your post, @cfacanovelles. I've removed the file for you. It'll take some time to fall out of Google search results, but if someone clicks a link to view it they will get a 404 error.
