How do a create links within a single web page to different sections of the same page?

Hello, and apologies if the answer is already posted somewhere (I searched but couldn't find anything).

I'm working on a website with some pages containing a lot of text. From a list of sections at the top of the page, I would like users be able to jump down to any particular section of the same page. Is there a way to do this without embedding some custom HTML? I can code HTML, but I'm setting this particular website up for a retired journalist friend who has never used HTML, and he needs to be able to tweak/edit the website once I've set it up for him (so I want to avoid any code for his sake).

I want to avoid creating multiple linked pages (if possible) in order to keep the flow of the text for website users who will may wish to read all the text on the page, from start to finish. This is because the text is made up of long single magazine articles (originally published in print).

If you can help with this, many thanks!

Nigel

You would need to use anchor links in order to do that @Dr_Nigel. We have a guide that is pretty straight forward, but there is also a low-cost app in the app center that might be better for him to use.

Yeah, I seen that walkthrough. Thank you!

I uploaded a screenshot of what I am trying to do... I don't really want the links in the link menu's at the top... But actually in the body of the website page...  Where it says quick links, you click on Baby bodysuit sizes and it jumps to that section at the bottom of the page.. Does that make sense? lolimage
