Header/title text backgrond/transparante overlay

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to format headers as in the example below.

How can I do that in CSS or HTML? It may also only be a partially transparent one color text background/overlay.

I use the Unbound theme. I created a Weebly section first with an parralax background image and a title header that I want to change. If another way works better, I'd like to hear that. Thank you very much for the help.

Greeting, Pieteimage

Is it the background color of the text you want, @pkoopmans? Some basic styling for header text can be done on the Theme tab, and some things can be done if you know CSS.

@Adam, thank you for your quick response!

I mean, indeed the background color/transparency of the header text. I do not see any options to set this in the theme settings. I know a little bit about CSS. But in this case, I do not know where to look for that. Can you give me a clue in which part of the editor I can adjust the background color and the transparency of the header text? Then I can figure it out, I think.

Thanks,

Pieter

I'm not sure I'm fully understanding your question based on the screenshot. Can you also post a link to the page you are trying to edit? Sometimes it helps to see the site live. Thanks! Smiley Happy

My own site is not live yet. The page at the screenshot give a preview of what I am looking for. This is a link to the site: https://www.finext.nl/ I mean the text color background/overlay at the picture. When possible a little transparent.

Thanks!

Pieter

Ah! Are you talking about this section?

That would definitely be possible with the Color Block app in our App Center. It's free and you would drag the element into the header, then add text elements into the Color Block app itself. You can change the background color and transparency each time you use it.
