Form data not matching CSV export

I have built a form that has been used for several years to collect information from parents of students registering for school.  This year, after the parents filled out the form creating hundreds of records, I have exported a CSV file and then compared the data to the individual emails I received.  Unfortunately, the data doesn't seem to always match, sometimes it does, but sometimes it doesn't.  This means I can't trust any of the data, and I'm unsure what to do.

Each year we have added one entry to the form to collect information about the current year. I'm wondering if this has screwed up the data as it looks like some of the columns are shifted, but not consistantly.   Please help!

Is it older entries that are exporting differently, @stanleypta? By older I mean entries that were made before you added a new field to the form. It's possible that could cause export problems with older posts since the number of fields wouldn't match. When you are going to add a field each year, I'd recommend copying your form and using that new form instead of the old one, that way it only will have entries that match the structure of the form.

With the current form, if you click on form entries on the dashboard of your account you can select specific entries to export. If you do it in pieces and try to make sure that you only export entries that had the same fields originally, I think it might export better.

Similar situation, form used for years and question has changed, been reworded/characters edited. It appears each change created a new column of data and shifted things over. That would be okay but spreadsheet is a nightmare to process, especially with multiple answer questions beings stored as null or a 1. Tried to identify time frames when changes were made and isolate the data to export in stages but there is only an "export all"
button and no export button for selected data.
