Editor wont load.... It just goes blank

When I log in to edit my site the page doesn't load.  It worked fine yesterday but for whatever reason it wont load today.  I have tried deleting my cache/histroy etc. and nothing seems to be working. Is there an issue with the site???

Have the same issue, and can't enter the editor mode both on Chrome and Firefox for two days now. I see a lot of people have the same issue from 2016 until 2020, but can't find a real answer about what to do. I was planning to come back with my blog today, and I don't know what to do - already restart my computer, clear my cache, try to login into the app on the iPad (but have problems with the mobile version too), search for a solution on internet and can't find anything. The blog is myfedesign.com

Do you have any firewall, ad blocking, or other security software installed on your computer, @Combeena? It's possible that might be interfering with the website editor.

Yesterday evening (around 21.00 PM GMT+7) I can access to my website editor. And after 15 minutes, without changing anything nor installing anything on my computer, it goes blank again. Also, if I try to enter from the browser of my smartphone, it go blank before I can enter the login information, saying that it find problem on the server.
Is really frustrating to have to cross my finger everytime I want to access, write and publish a post for my blog, and really don't understand why at one time everything is okay, and then, after few minutes, everything is back to blank.

Yes, I already check about the firewall, but it doesn't change anything when I disable it (and it was enable when yesterday I finally can access to my editor)

I was able to log into your editor without any issue. Are you using the same internet connection when you try to login from your computer or your phone? Do you have a different connection you can try testing out?

Can you please let us know what browser you are using? Can you also try from a different browser in private/incognito mode?

Hi @Gygantech Do you have a different browser you can temporarily try out? It would be best if you use private/incognito mode.

I cannot open one of my websites: When I click 'edit' I get a grey screen - this has gone on for 2 days now. I am using chrome and I have tried incognito.  (I use chromebooks so I canNOT try any other browsers fyi.)   Also, page takes A Long time to load--it took a few whole minutes for the grey screen to load in incognito. I will PM you the name of the website with the glitch. Thank you for helping me !!

Having the same issue, Feb. 17 2021, weebly should try to fix this since it has been a problem for hundreds if not thousands of users for over 4 years.

I tested opening your site in the website editor and it worked for me, @alexdean. If you switch to a different browser temporarily, does it work?

Hi @sreejaiyer The editor is loading okay for me. Can you try opening a new browser in private or incognito mode?

Here I am in 2022 and am having this same problem.  I log in just fine and then click edit.  Nothing - editor goes blan.  I have cleared cookies, rebooted my PC, used three different browsers, including incognito on two of them, change my internet connection, rebooted my router, uninstalled ALL extensions on all three browsers, disabled VPN, and I get a blank screen when I go to edit my website. This has been going on for two days.  I have even tried to copy my site, but get an error saying "something went wrong."  Please PM/email me to get this resolved as soon as possible.  I will give you the website information through direct contact.

Hi @nickimanz

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the site editor. I only see one site in your account on a paid plan (climbing site) and I was able to load the editor immediately.

Do you have a different device and internet connection you can test out? I always suggest using mobile data as an easy way to confirm if it is an ISP issue having trouble reaching the editor URL (editmysite.com).

If the problem is with your internet service provider, you can reach out to them to request a ping test to see where the connection is dropping or being blocked.

Another issue could be antivirus or antimalware software on your computer flagging a false positive for the editor URL, again editmysite.com

Are you able to verify this using a different internet connection and/or device?
