Delete very old uploaded file

Hello, can someone direct me away to delete some very old files that were uploaded in weebly (through button link)...i uploaded some resumes back in 2013,2014... and i can find the by googling. Eventhough i have removed them from the link button in my weebly page.

Did you delete the button or just remove the link from the button, @mikomiko? Deleting the button element you used to upload a file should delete the file, but only removing the link won't.

i just removed the link..i used free templates from  weebly, not sure how i can remove the button...because it comes with the portfolio template ... is there a way i can remove the button from the template?

even after i delete every "button" word i can find in the html/css edit session, the button is still there ( i have very little knowledge of css though >.<)

i've changed to a new portfolio theme, without any button, but i can still see the old links if i add a new button to the new themed portfolio.. my site is *edited* , if i googled my full name i can find the old links at the very top of the google ... the 2013 and 2014 pdf... thank you in advance for helping

Deleting a file is done by deleting the element you used to upload it originally. I can manually delete files for you, though, @mikomiko. Which files in specific did you need removed?

yes please~ could you please help me remove all of the links in the button? i no longer need to put them in the button link sorry for the hassle, and thank you very much in advance!

Hi Can you also do the same to the file i uploaded long time ago. I didnt know the signatures in the letters I uploaded for our conference/seminar can be extracted from the file I uploaded.

I unpublished already the website in weebly but it is still searchable and is linked to the old weebly account of our department..

Hi @franciscampena It looks like the site is published. Do you still want us to delete those two files? Please keep in mind that if we delete from the server we will not be able to recover.

This is a late response. Yes Please delete the two files. I have not checked the site for quite some time now and just revisited the site. Since my institution now uses a different Learning Management System, I can no longer maintain this personal website for my students.

Also is there a way for me to download all the files I have in the website and late unpublish the site?

I have deleted and unpublished my website but the files I have uploaded are still accessible. How can I ensure that the files can no longer be accessed.

Thanks for reaching out, @franciscampena We can only delete files if you provide the full file url. 

We'll put in a request to have these ones removed. If you find others, please send one of us mods a private message with the additional links.

I also have a ton of old files that are readily available anytime i want to link to a file.  I need to remove only one. The original button has been deleted but anyone with the link can still access the file.

There are now too many files to go through.  It would be easier if we could do it at the time we upload the replacement file.

Unfortunately, no. At least nothing that will delete the files like you need. As long as you include the full file name when you contact support an agent should be able to quickly delete files for you.
