Transparent html element in the iframe which prevents user interaction with the Cogsworth iframe
Hi, I need help and can't seem to contact Weebly, the email function doesn't seem to be working... Please note, I have Zero Tech or coding experience... I'm a total Noob but need to get this sorted.......
I have a booking site which I have added to my website... It works well on the Full site but doesn't work on the mobile site... www.thebodyclinic.com.au
I contacted the booking site help and they sent me this
Hi Madeline,We had a look at your site and the reason your customers are having issues is because of the other code on your website that is interfering on mobile.
You have a transparent html element on top of the iframe which prevents user interaction with the Cogsworth iframe.
Can anyone please tell me how I can remove this so that my booking site works on the mobile app? below is the code from my booking site I've embedded in my website
<div data-cogsworth-endpoint="ck6ev1ptczc3o0946a2y29wa4" data-cogsworth-type="iframe" style="height: 700px;" />

Hey there, I inspected your website. They're right--in your theme, there's an invisible div element called "navmobile-wrapper" which is floating on top of your bookings widget, and doesn't let mobile users click through on it.
The issue is this div is basically a holder for your slide-out navigation bar on mobile devices. Deactivating that div will also deactivate the navigation slide out bar for mobile users.
You could hire someone to fix this and implement a workaround but I'd recommend possibly switching themes to a different Weebly theme. You can either experiment with other free Weebly themes or you can try purchasing a premium Weebly theme. At this point I don't bother with the free default Weebly themes, I just purchase premium ones from the many premium Weebly theme companies (I wrote an article on them which you can access by clicking here). Try finding a theme where the mobile navigation doesn't "slide out" from the left (like on your website) because other themes with this design might have the same issue.
Hope you get it to work!
