Cannot edit text in box?

Hi,

i am using weekly app to update website I made on weekly a couple of years ago. I am only getting option on text box to copy or delete. Is there no way to edit this text? It's only a couple of parts I need to update.

any help appreciated

Hi @WhiskersGarden,

What browser are you using? Is there any firewall or anti-virus software on your internet connection? Does your site use a standard theme or have you put in any custom coding?

its an IPad - no security stuff installed.

I used one of weeblys standard themes but this was a couple of years ago

Do you have access to a laptop or desktop computer, @WhiskersGarden? I have a feeling the text box you're trying to edit is a really old version of one that the app doesn't handle editing of.  If you can edit the site temporarily with a computer, you can delete that element and replace it with a new text element that you can later edit with the app.

im a new customer of weebly and paid for my site to be built of which I did most of the artistry.  your product is not user friendly.  i am trying to place an RSVP box on my site and I cannot read the text.  The text is fine, I can't highlight and change the color I can';t change the background.  This could be easier.

Arbrown7, the settings as far as fonts and colors are meant to match with the theme. Did you revise the fonts at all? 

To change the site title, paragraph title, paragraph text, and other fonts for your site, click on the Theme tab and then click "Change Fonts". In this area you'll see an area to configure font type, color, size and line height for your site.

Now I have the same problem. Its as if all had turned to a "Section" and all I can do is to delete, copy or edit background. I dont know what happend. TOday eariler it worked. Maybe its the browser?
Please help me with this

Hi @Adam, thanx for the quick reply.

here's a possible solution: I exited and then later re-entered and now this problem is solved. Although it happened a few times before this, so I still don't know why this happens. But sure, if it stays like that, it could be annyoing!
