Can't Delete Empty Color Block

I can't remove the color block. 
I really don't want to remove the app and re-do everything.

Hello AdamC! Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

The element should be gone now. If you run into that issue in the future, make sure there is some padding on the top of the Color Block element, and you should be able to sidestep the issue.

Which site is the element on, and which page, @ellamae? Have you tried going to the Apps tab and disconnecting the app?

That should remove any color block elements from your site.

when I select it this is what shows up.... but no "red X button to delete". Love the Block so not looking to delete the color block just looking to remove extra block not using.

Ok, if you refresh your site the extra color block should be gone now.

Adam, I also have an unwanted Color Block (in my Footer) that I want to delete without having to disable the App.

Can you tell us what you're doing to delete it, so we don't have to ask if another color block gets accidentally inserted?

I don't see anything stuck in the footer on that site, and it looks like the domain isn't pointed to us (looks like HostGator). Did you still need something removed, @JennUnlimited? It's a little complicated doing it and not something that customers would be able to do, unfortunately.

I am in the process of moving it from Hostgator to Weebly (just waiting on the Weebly's nameserver). My site is built in weebly, but not published yet at the normal URL.

Sorry for delay. Tech support was able to remove that empty color block for you. It should usually allow you to delete on you own, so please let us know if you run into this issue again.

I'm also trying to delete two empty color blocks, on this page: http://www.unityvillagechapel.org/now-showing--copy.html.

I realized I don't have the red X on any of the color blocks on this page - does that mean I can't delete ANY of the color blocks? Thanks for help with this problem.

Seems like there's an issue with the app; I'd recommend contacting the app developer, or going to Settings > My Apps, then clicking on the "..." button for the app and removing it (this will remove all color blocks from your site - I don't know what would happen to content added to them, though).

I took someone's advice and increased the spacing so that the "x" was visible (thank you!). I certainly did not want to relaunch the app or delete anything!

I found that when i had this trouble, if I got rid of rounded corners and increased the spacing all around the X reappeared. Try these two tricks.
