Blog contents disappearing in editor, but visible on published site

I noticed this evening that the photo was not loading on this blog post, and went into the editor to correct that.

The blog post is visible in the editor, until I go all the way into the post, then all that is visible is a blank page with the "drag elements here" box.  The content is there (and visible on the published site, minus the image) right up until I go all the way in to try to edit.

Any idea what the issue is?

Hello Bernadette - 

I am assuming you mean you are trying a fix on that page and want to publish to determine if it worked.  Is that correct?  If so, that is ok.

I don't really want to publish the post because it could end up publishing a blank post, @BeverlyM. Since the content (sans image, anyway) is on your published website, it might make more sense to delete the entire post and remake it. I know that's more work for you, but I feel more confident that that will get you a normal, functional post.

Thank you, Adam.  I've deleted and republished it and it really was not much trouble at all.
