Remove Log In Tab

How do I remove the log in tab off the mobile version of my website?  It does not appear when editing the mobile version of the site, yet when I open the site on my iPhone it is listed at the bottom.

Not a problem, @MBM. I've fixed that for you so you shouldn't see the login tab.

Hi @fulfordwood To remove the login you will need to disable customer accounts. Log into the editor and click Store>Setup>Checkout then scroll to Checkout Options and click Edit. You should be able to toggle off the first option.

Hi,

I have the same problem - the Log in tab appeared on my website, and I don't want it. I can't find the Members tab under Settings. Please advise.

Thanks! To turn off the custom account setting open up the site in your editor and click Store>Setup>Checkout then scroll to the bottom where it shows "Checkout Options" Then you can edit and toggle off "Enable Customer Accounts". Just make sure to save when finished. Smiley Happy

Hi @Bernadette ,

I am having the same issue with my site www.prepare.co.nz

I would like to remove the login option, but under the store Checkout options it says: To use customer accounts, you must enable SSL for this site.

When i go into Settings, there is no SSL option to change.

So i have no idea how to get rid of the Login option.

Thanks,

Jarrod

Hm.. it looks like you are using Weebly through a reseller. Unfortunately, we do not have access to your account and you will need to reach out to your hosting company directly. https://www.umbrellar.com/contact-us/

Hi @Bernadette,

I have tried asking Umbrellar to fix this and they just keep saying that they dont make any changes to my site and I need to do it myself.

Is there anything that you can do to help me?

Thanks

Jarrod

if you add this to Settings > SEO > Header Code it will hide it on the live site:

<style>
    .account-menu-item
    {
        display: none !important;
    }
</style>

Are you looking in the editor or on your live site? It will only do something on the live site after you've published.
