Hi, I just published my new website www.karoo62.co.za and tried to share it on social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Messenger,...) The preview image does not appear in any of these. What can I do to solve this problem? Nobody is obviously going to click on a link without a preview image

Perfect! Click on Settings>SEO and enter this in the Header section.
<meta property="og:image" content="https://www.karoo62.co.za/uploads/2/3/6/7/23671526/karoo027_orig.jpg" />
Make sure to save and publish. Then visit the Facebook Debugger site and enter your domain name and click "debug". If you don't see your image you may need to hit "scrape again".

Hi @cruella_barbie Facebook (and other social platforms) are not able to read background images. Is there an image anywhere on your site that you want to use? We can help you add a simple html tag that will allow the correct image to show.

Hello
Can you please show me what the code would be to change my image preview on social media?
My site is zoeseowebdesign.com

You have the code correct, @JoelleJean. The url in the code does not appear to be working, though. Is that image on your website somewhere?
This is the current OG image:

Hi Bernadette. I also have this problem - there are several images on my site, including the main one on the Home page, but they never show up in social media previews. What should I include in the code after "og:image" content- so that the pictures already on the page appear in previews?

Hi @Tam0 What's the link you are trying to post? If you have a readable image on the page you shouldn't need to add the extra code, but we can confirm for you.
