Lowercase letters in sub navigation menu?

How do I make the fonts case-sensitive for sub-navigation menu titles?  It does not appear as an option and my sub page titles are all in caps.  I need both lowercase and uppercase letters to type abbreviations for chemical elements which are case-sensitive.

Hey @deltron11!

That would be controlled by your theme's CSS, so you'd need to customize your theme in order to change that.  If you're familiar with HTML and CSS and you can do that by going to the Themes tab, clicking on "Edit HTML / CSS" and making your edits to main-style.css.

Keep in mind we don't provide assistance with custom HTML and CSS changes, so if you run into trouble you can always switch back to the standard version of your theme.

What did you do to get the lower case?

Adams explanation is unfortunately above my pay grade. Why can't weebly make the adjustment so that people that use the weebly site service can use Upper & Lower case letters in the Header. It should be that simple for those that do this for a living , not for those that are not programmers, or code writers.

That's a great suggestion, @twodaysnews.  You should post that on our Vote on Features board if you'd like us to add an option for that on the Themes tab:

I would also like to see this feature added. I just submitted the feature request:

Yes, I agree upper case or lowercase should be a very simple adjustment to make.  It is too complicated.

Wow. That's helpful.  Just go back to the original theme(aka the drawing board)!! Thanks, Adam. If I knew code would I be using Weebly?...NOT! Just busting your chops...Seriously, though: in my opinion lower case is so niiiice....but heck..can't use it with weebly.  That's got to change...I went in circles and ended up back here trying to vote for it as a new feature. WAAAAAAH!!!!!  I HATE MYSELF!!

Post is old but just wanted to chime in. I have little to no CSS experience (unless you count playing with myspace 10+ years ago) but if you go to the Edit HTML/CSS at the bottom of the theme sidebar menu and just do Ctrl + F (Find) and type in "Navigation", look for the word "Uppercase" and just replace it with "none".

You can find it next to   "text-transform"

Click save and name the theme if it asks you to and you're good to go.
