Importing outside themes

Does Weebly offer the capability to import an outside .zip file with a new theme from Themify?

Hello @Annie614

 You can import themes by going into the theme in the blue bar at the top of your editor. from there you will "choose theme" in the left menu. Once you open this you will have the option to upload a custom theme in the top right. You will want to make sure that your 3rd party theme provider provides support for the custom theme. If we make changes or updates to our platform and it conflicts with a custom theme the only way to get get support for that theme will be from the 3rd party that provided it.

Thank  you for the reply! I bought a great theme and just wanted to make sure I could still use it before transferring to Weebly from BlueHost.

Just curious about what theme from Themify you use...(Your site link perhaps?)

Also, how difficult was it to integrate into Weebly

Did you notice any advantages/differences that convinced you to switch?

On the fence about getting their Ultra package...

Update...just purchased their Master Club and then asked about upgrading to lifetime unlimited....

Their product looks fantastic!

Hopefully the support base is as good as the product looks.

Wow.

I was truly excited about getting Themify until one of their representatives sent me this email:

If your site is hosted on Weebly, our themes won't work. Do you have any hosting signed up? Most host providers have WordPress installation via cPanel. Once you install WordPress on your site, you will be able to install our themes.

Apparently, according to that person, It won't work.

So, I am going to attempt getting mu investment returned and search ellsewhere.

Just a warning or heads up to any other curious seekers for outside themes.
