You can control commenting options for your blog by going to Settings > Blog.  There are options there to turn commenting on, on with approval, or off, as well as choose which service you want to use for comments.

I reset my comments setting to allow comments via Facebook, published the changes, and looked at the site again. There is still no place to enter comments or request them. How do I make commenting on my blog possible and obvioous?

Hello! Sorry for the stress. It does look like there's currently a comment section in place. Were you able to get things cleared up?

If your on the main blog page, click "0 Comment," you should see where your readers can leave a comment.

If you click on the title of a blog post, you should see where readers can leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Please let me know if you're not seeing that.

Thanks,

Erin

If visitors go to the page for the post itself they can leave a comment:

http://www.lymefilm.org/chairmans-corner/snapshot-of-a-small-town-cinema

Clicking on the title of the post loads that page, as does clicking on the "0 Comments" link (which would change to say how many comments you have if someone leaves a comment).

This might be something related to your custom theme, @Pavlovlovich. It might be simplest to switch to a different theme.

Hi @SMiles_ANd_CAts. You don't have any blog posts on your page. Log into the editor and navigate to your page titled Hi. Then in the bottom right corner you will see a blue New Post button. Unfortunately, it's a little covered up by our helpful blue lightbulb but our engineers are working on fixing that. If you do not need the help guide you can click on the bulb, then highlight each question and click "skip". Once you get to the end you can choose the option "got it" and the bulb will go away.
