Confusion over Categories in my site

I'm setting up our site for holiday sales...it is a store template.  I've entered in all of our products (for simplicities sake, say I'm selling bicycles and parts).  I've established categories such as "New Bicycles", "Used Bicycles", "Tires", "Chains", and "Handlebar Grips".  I've used the builder to "create a new category page" but when I click on it, it only shows the items in the first category, i.e., the "New Bicycles" page.  in the left, where I don't think it will show when published, is a drop down menu with all of the various categories.  What I want to do is have a "Category Page" where the picture associated with each cateorgy is displayed.  Then, when a customer decides they need to find a chain, they can click on that Category and see all of the items in that area.  Am I doing something wrong?  I've tried everything I know, perhaps I don't need to worry...any input is appreciated!

Hi @KettleCornGuy It looks like you are creating individual pages for each category. If you want a page with all categories showing all you need to do is add a new "standard" page, and then use the Category element from the build menu. You can check off each category you wish to display. Once the site is live, the corresponding category images will open a new page with all items associated within the given category. Smiley Happy
