How do I downgrade a website plan?

Hey there, I've got a site that is on a pro plan right now, but recently i've noticed that I have no use for the pro options an want to downgrade. I cannot seem to do this myself. How should I go about downgrading back to starter?

Sorry you are having troubles again! Tech support made a sight adjustment to your account. Can you please try again and let me know if it goes through?

Yeah, I had the Weebly Pro plan for $99/year, but need to downgrade to the free version. There are plenty of big links where one can UPgrade to a more expensive plan on the site, but I can't find a single option anywhere, not instructions on how to downgrade to the free version (where the basic version of my website stays on the internet, just with no bells and whistles). That's pretty bad site management Weebly, it's a great way to get negative customer reviews.

Note- I thought I canceled by annual plan earlier this Summer, but am getting emails now that claim my payments are overdue. WTF.

Sorry for the troubles, @novae2. You are on a grandfathered billing plan and if we remove the service you will no longer have access to the cheaper hosting plan rates. If this is okay please just let me know and I'll remove the service for you.

Thx for the response. I'm not sure what that means though. I can no longer afford to pay anything at this time. Isn't there a free site option? I can't find any way on the site to change to that. I'd like to keep the website on the internet, but if it needs to go 404 'website not available' that's what I guess I need to do.

There is a free option, and we can definitely drop you down to that. @Bernadette just wanted you to know that if you upgrade again in the future you wouldn't be able to keep the same account-level plan and price.

I’m currently having the same issue ... my site is coming up for renewal & would like to go to a non-e commerce plane, but I am only given the upgrade options. Are you able to help with that?

Hi @FrequencyComics I removed the Pro service so that you can choose the plan you want. You will want to make sure to upgrade to the Starter plan when you get a chance to keep the Weebly branding off the site. You can use coupon code: 5JCM7RLBYM at checkout. Cheers!
