How do I add a Blog?
How do I add a blog to my site? I found on a search to add it from the add a page menu but "Blog" is not showing up. I have another site and domain at GoDaddy that I am transferring here once I get this site set up. I joined it through Square and upgraded to premium last night and have not published the site yet due to it still being in creation. I am using their templates through Square.
Thanks for any assistance you can give.
Pam

Thank you! I think the issue is on doing this through Square because I don't have that option. Hopefully Bernadette can assist me in getting there.
Thanks again!
Pam

Hi Pamela, I thought blogs were to help guide people to the website.
What good is it on the site? They are already there!

Thanks for posting, @PamalaB. The version of the editor used with a Square Online Store does not currently support adding a blog, although this is something we are working on so it'll be an option in the future. Thanks for your patience while we work on that feature!

Adam, I've upgraded to the premium package and would like to be able to have all of the features at this price. What are my options? Right now I'm not seeing the money being worth the outcome.
Thanks,
Pam

Hi @civiccareers Right now the only option is to display a third party blog on your site. You will be able to do this using the RSS Feed section option. As far as I know, we do not have any immediate plans to build out a blog platform for Square. You can read more about the RSS here: https://www.weebly.com/app/help/us/en/topics/what-is-an-rss-feed

Bernadette,
My idea for my business site is more text-heavy, as I'm selling services vs products. A built-in blog feature or greater text-editing capabilities would be really helpful as I don't have any other current webpages nor a blog. In this case I would have to create another page and link to it via the RSS feed.
The issue is the Square editor vs the Weebly editor, correct? Could I just re-create my page via the Weebly editor for greater functionality?

You could make a regular Weebly account and potentially get the editor that includes a blog, though you'll lose out on all of the syncing features. Hmm... Are you using a custom domain? One thing you could do is create a standard Weebly account (make sure to say you just want a website/don't want to sell), then use a subdomain of your domain with the site, e.g. blog.mydomain.com. You can use the RSS feed of that with your Square Online Store and it will better maintain the branding.
