Verify domain ownership via DNS record, not very clear
So I did search around but its not very clear on googles end and also some past posts.
so this is what google send me (I changed numbers at the end just in case)
google-site-verification=mIKxzfYo03Iih1S-D4hZerPELewzT7kLVrOWHL6j7T6
And weebly/square has the following
Type
Host
Points To.
So is it like this?
Type Text
Host google-site-verification
Points to IKxzfYo03Iih1S-D4hZerPELewzT7kLVrOWHL6j7T6
or do I need to add the = @ "" or how is the format. The past forums were kind of all over the place saying it was ""google-site-verification" others said @google-site-verification

Hi @willc86
Type is the type of records i.e. A-record, Cname, TXT, etc
Host is typically blank or the @ symbol
Points to will be the full string provided by Google: google-site-verification=mIKxzfYo03Iih1S-D4hZerPELewzT7kLVrOWHL6j7T6
Hope that helps! 😊
