What devices is the item grid available on?

Using  Square on my Android Samsung Tab E tablet allows me to select and arrange items in tje order I want, based on what I  expected to sell the most of that day. I love that aspect!!

On the other hand, phones and the "wedge" reader just give an alphabetical list of items, witj tje option to jump to a category.  I like this less , it was actually a disappointment on the big reader,  but that is another story.

So, I accepted Bell Mobility's offer of a new tablet for $5/Month,  but was surprised when that Android tablet (ZTE brand??) Only gave the alphabetical list, not the tiles view.

So, my question is:

What determines when I  can getthe Tiles view on a tablet?

What experience do you have with this?? Does it depend on the power of the tablet?? RAM, Memory,  other acronyms?

I want to get another tablet, but I want, need the Tiles view.

Hello @MrsM,

Thanks for reaching out and posting in the Seller Community. 

Normally the item grid layout should be available on all iOS versions of the iPad, but tends to be slightly less supported across Android systems being that there is a large range of devices. 

I am more than happy to look into this if you can provide a photo of what your screen is showing.

Ironically, or unfortunately,  I gave away the  new tablet, a Samsung 8ish" Tab E and managed to leave the good one, a Samsung Tab A, also 8ish inches, at home, 2 days' drive from here now.

The App screen looked the same on the new tablet as it does  on the Big Terminal (the Wedge) or on my android phone:

On my good tablet, I could have 2 pages of thumbnails that I could select and arrange in any order.

On my phone,  wedge, and new tablet I only have the alphabetical list shown above. 

Sorry I can't  supply a pic of the screen I want. Maybe someone else can, if need be?

No worries. We definitely hear you on this. Normally, if you were to tap and hold on an item within the grid, it would pull up the editing mode that can be used to create more pages and arrange your items to your liking. From the screenshot provided, it doesn't look like that's the case on that specific device. As mentioned, we are working to update our software and offer more features, so we will definitely keep you posted.
