Issue importing customers using Template CSV file

Hi all

I need some assistance please. I'm unable to import customers using your CSV template. The original CSV template has all the headings in one cell and column. When adding a customer in the same format get the error "Wrong number of fields".

I moved them to individual columns and still get errors "Invalid header - Header names must be no more than 100 characters".

I am trying adding just 1 customer. How can this issue be resolved? This function is not well explained in the support section and lack details. Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issue with the Directory import/export tool. I'd be happy to look into this for you.

When you download the Customer Profile Template, you should have 1 line and 13 columns as shown below.

If your file is displayed differently, could you share a screenshot of what it looks like on your end? Which software are you using to open the file?

Hello Lou, we are having the same issue, the download template shows commas instead in 1 line (First Name, Surname,...) so when i triy to upload it gives error "Invalid header - Header names must be no more than 100 characters" what we can do? thanks
