How to sell physical items that ship from Square mobile app

When a customer pays for a service at my business, I would like to add clothing items to their cart on my Square mobile app. However, it does not prompt for a shipping address or include shipping fees. How can I resolve this?

I'm using Printful print-on-demand, so all clothing items are shipped to the customer's location. 

You can see in the screenshot it just charges for the item amount plus tax. No address or shipping info comes up.

Please accept my apologies for the delayed response here, I seem to have overlooked your additional query here when I responded to your other post.

 

From the Square POS app, you can create an Order and schedule it for Pickup or Curbside Collection. Youโ€™d first need to enable Order Manager, as order creation settings arenโ€™t enabled by default. To enable and configure order settings:

 

  1. Open the Square POS app , then tap โ‰ก More > Settings.

  2. Tap Orders > Order creation.

  3. Ensure โ€˜Enable order creation in checkoutโ€™ is toggled on.

 

You can learn more about managing orders from the Square Point of Sale app, here

 

If you'd like further fulfilment options, I'd suggest taking a look at Square for Retail. If you haven't already seen it, there's a great Community post from Tra, that highlights some of the benefits of creating Orders from our improved Retail app. 

 

With regards to Printful, you would need to reach out to them directly, to check if they support what you're trying to achieve from your Point of Sale.
